Reviews on Miss D's Candy

"But you see Miss D. as soon as you enter the market, and I'm powerless to say no to popcorn. Also, Miss D. is quite persuasive! Just look at that face!"

There's plenty more at the market, including the best pralines I ever ate, made by Louisianan Dionne Gant at Miss D's New Orleans Pralines. I didn't realize how grainy my homemade pralines were until I tasted hers - smooth, creamy, sweet-but-not-too, featuring Georgia grown pecans. (I'll return there during Christmastime for sweet stocking stuffers.)

She's been busy ever since she arrived spreading love & pralines all over Atlanta! Lately she's been working on her 187 flavors of popcorn.

This place is legit because it's just a straight up family making some good treats. You can see all the treats being made and I think I even saw Miss D working the equipment.

"These tubs are priced 2 for $5. Unsure of what flavor to get? No worries, just ask for a sample and they will gladly give you some. I bought the Cajun Caramel and Banana Caramel and brought them home (yes, as carry-on during my flight home). Initially, I thought these flavors were odd, but Miss D knew what she was thinking when she came up with these flavors. They are so delicious. I wish I bought more to bring home."

Delicious candy and great service! Everything is fresh, and you can watch it being made.
